Senior Contracts Manager

Carrick Construction are one of the UK’s leading experts in sports surface construction and renovation. Carrick also operates in urban development’s providing build solutions for sustainable drainage, blue/green roofs and rain gardens.

We are currently looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to join our management team to manage various projects across the Midlands and South of UK.

This would suit anyone who has a minimum of 5 years’ experience overseeing and managing sports construction sites, including natural grass, synthetic grass, multi-use games areas, golf courses, sports drainage and environmental projects.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • To manage and oversee multiple construction projects
  • Manage project financials and ensure profitability
  • To oversee the day-to-day activities of our construction projects and our labour squads
  • Ensure all aspects of Health & Safety on site are managed, maintained and adhered to
  • Ensure that the agreed project plan is managed and achieved
  • Manage client site relationships and maintain good communication throughout
  • Communicate effectively and clearly with all colleagues and staff
  • Manage any sub-contractor relationships and costs

Candidates will need:

  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • CSCS/CPCS card
  • SMSTS Qualified
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working within the sports turf construction industry.
  • Be prepared to travel to different UK locations and stay away from home when required.
  • Be a good communicator, organised, pay attention to detail and work well under pressure.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe working environment for all.

Job Type: Full-time and Permanent

Pay: Salary subject to experience

Work Location: Midlands and South area of the UK but may be asked to travel beyond this depending on business needs.

Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
